Adikanda's story

Mr. Adikanda, 36 years old, is a physically challenged person living with his small family in Odisha, India. His family consists of his mother, his son who is five years old and his wife. His mother is a housewife. He is the only person in his family earning a living and three members are depending on his income. He started a general store in his village nine years ago. His village consists of 100 families and there are three shops. People are dependent on these three shops for grocery items and snacks. So he started a general store selling food items like rice, cooking oil, and packaged food items like biscuits, cake etc. But due to lack of funds, he cannot meet the growing demands of the customers so he needs the financial support for his growth. He has requested a loan of 20,000 INR to purchase food items in bulk and repair his shop so that he can meet the market demand.
