Utea's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more used clothing for the business.

Utea's story

Utea 28, is a single parent with two children, age 2 and 11. They attend school. She has been working very hard in managing her business, since she is the only source of income to her children. She has been involved in this business for the past ten years. She sells used clothing, like bed sheets and pillow cases. She first started by selling mineral water. She learned to sell from her mother. She makes a profit when she sells, and with the profit, she buys more goods and attend to the needs of her children. She is requesting her fourth loan from BRAC Liberia to purchase more used clothes for the business. Her dream for the future is to have a big shop.
