Isezerano Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her restaurant and purchase food products (beans, rice, palm oil) that she will sell in cooked dishes, as well as a large number of avocados for resale.

Isezerano Group's story

Goreth is a member of the group Isezerano and lives in Bujumbura. She is 35 years old and married to a fish merchant named Juma. Together they have three children aged six to 19 years old. Goreth has been an avocado merchant for eight years, and for the past three months has been running her own restaurant. This is Goreth's second loan cycle with Turame. With her loan from KIVA, she plans to expand her restaurant and purchase food products (beans, rice, palm oil) that she will sell in cooked dishes, as well as a large number of avocados for resale. In the coming years, Goreth would like to buy a parcel of land and build a house. She would also like to see her children study hard and complete their schooling.
