Peter's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to expand his business by purchasing additional inventory (e.g., clothes and shoes).
For the past five years, Peter has been working hard to manage his small business, where he sells clothes, shoes and utensils. To help expand his business, Peter has requested a loan in the amount of 2,000,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan proceeds would be used to buy more items like clothes and shoes for the business. By increasing his inventory, Peter expects that the loan proceeds will help him generate greater profits and keep the business running smoothly. In the future, Peter hopes to be able to create a bigger business.
Peter is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Peter who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans but who have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
