Sevinc's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy three cattle and one milk cow.

Sevinc's story

Sevinc is 43 years old, married and has three children. She is an internally displaced person (IDP) and lives with her family in Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. She breeds cattle and sells milk and milk products as well as cattle for meat purposes to local butchers. Sevinc has more than eight years of experience in this field thanks to his father, who taught her how to best look after cattle. Her husband works as builder and receives an 80 AZN salary, which is too low to support the family. Sevinc usually buys calves, raises and fattens them over five to six months, and resells them for a profitable price at the local livestock bazaar. She sells milk and yogurt to neighbors. Milk and meat selling brings in 210 AZN per month. Milk and yogurt, as well as beef and mutton, are very popular products in Azerbaijan. People use meat in everyday national dishes such as pilau and dolma and always use yogurt sauce. Dairy products are considered to be very healthy and are present in everyday life. The family's income is not enough to cover basic needs of her beloved children. Sevinc applied for 1600 AZN to purchase three cattle and one milk cow. This will be her second loan and she has a good client history.
