Ambreen's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to purchase a new sewing machine for her tailoring business.
Ambreen's Group's story
Ambreen is a 23-year-old woman who lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with her husband, daughter and son. Her son is a one-year-old, and her daughter is ten and in the fifth grade. Her husband is a painter, and his income is not sufficient to meet all the household expenses. Ambreen is a very hardworking and independent woman. By sewing clothes, she helps her husband to provide for the family's needs and her children's education expenses. She has been operating her business very efficiently and honestly, for the past two years, and her clients always appreciate her work. Ambreen, is a member of an eight-person borrowing group that has requested a loan from Kiva partner BRAC Pakistan. With her share of the loan, she will buy a new sewing machine, so that she can work more efficiently in the future. Ambreen and her family live in a rented house; she dreams of living in her own home. She also wants to increase her business and to provide a quality education to her children.
