Moyopata-San Sebastian Group's story
The members belong to the “Mayopata San Sebastian” communal bank located in San Jerónimo District belonging to Cusco Province and Department. Rosaria, 40, is married and has three children. She alternates her daily chores with a business selling breakfasts. She’s been in this business for years and does well thanks to the effort she puts into it daily. She’s a street vendor outside one of Cusco’s markets. She sells quinoa with apples, maca root, milk, cake, bread with avocado, bread with cheese and others. She’s a responsible, dedicated person who supports her family this way. She works from 6am until she sells out her merchandise around 10am approximately. She will use the loan to buy ingredients like milk, apples and sugar, among others for her business. She thanks those who share her dream and commits to make her installment payments as scheduled. The member in the inserted photo requested permission to arrive late at the meeting. The other group members are mechanics, movers, cargo shippers, snack shop owners, a housewife who helps out her husband taking in ironing, car painters, book sellers, animal raisers and carpenters.
