Lach, aged 51, is a hardworking mother who currently lives with her married son and a daughter-in-law in Baray district of Kompong Tom province. Raising hogs is a supplementary business for Lach, which is followed by farming. From her hog-raising business, she is able to earn additional income of KHR6,000 each day. She has been in these businesses for more than ten years. Her son also sells firewood to help support the family. During her entrepreneurship, Lach aspires to improve her farming business so that it will return her back a satisfied profit through the years. In order to attain her dreams, Lach is asking for support in the form of a loan of $1,500. She will use the loan to purchase a plow for the maintenance of the rice fields. Moreover, the plow can be attached to a trailer at the back for transporting firewood to marketplaces. Lach knows that she will be able to make her dream come true through the help of the loan.
