Banco Mujer Kábata Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy compost, fertilizer, fungicide, bags and other inputs.

Banco Mujer Kábata Group's story

Merari is the president of Banco Mujer Kábata. She is 28 years old, has a five-year-old daughter and has been in a civil union for nine years. Both she and her partner work in their own small farm where they grow bananas. This activity is the only source of income for the family. The loan will be invested in the purchase of inputs such as compost, fertilizer, fungicide, bags and others. This is the fifth loan that she has requested. The loans have greatly benefited her business, enabling her to get ahead and even helping her pay for college. Merari has well-defined goals. She wants to increase the banana production, cultivate other crops and finish her university studies. All of this is so she can offer her daughter a better quality of life. Alongside Merari, there are seven other members in the group who will invest in agricultural activities.
