Rita Johana's story
Rita is a humble merchant, originally from Boaco. She is married, a mother of two children of 13 and 6 years of age. Both children are in school. She started selling enchiladas and cakes by travelling to different neighborhoods, later transitioning into a market to sell food but the location wasn't very attractive and didn't have good conditions for this, so she decided to change her location. Today, she sells food, beverages, bread, and natural sodas. She wants to increase the size of her business, to gain more customers, and wants to better furnish her location by buying more chairs and plastic tables. She is asking for the loan in order to buy rice, sugar, meat, oil, vegetables, beans, cheese, and napkins. This helps her to have more ingredients to work with. Her source of inspiration to work hard are her children, to whom she wants to bring a better future.
