Edith Marlene's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sugar, cleaning products, milk, basic grains, medicines, flour, condiments, and other consumer products.

Edith Marlene's story

Edith is 45 years old and has five children. She is a single mother and lives in a neighborhood in the town of Trinidad, Santa Bárbara, with her children and two grandchildren.

Edith has her own business by which she is able to support her family. Eleven years ago, she established a grocery store where she sells everyday consumer products such as sugar, rice, lard, soap, milk, cheese, condiments, chips, cleaning products, and other items.

This is her second loan and she is requesting 10,000 HNL so that she can restock her store with food products. This will improve her sales and her earnings. Her goals are to grow her business so that she can help her children with their studies and to have a better standard of living.
