Las Rayadas Group's story
The Rayadas [the Striped Ones] are a support group made up of 5 hardworking women. It is called that because most of the members go the soccer game wearing stripes. Erika is a 27 year old young woman who is in a common law marriage and has 3 children aged 6, 5 and 2. Her husband is a driver and she is a stylist. She starting working first in a neighbor's salon and since she liked the work, she saved up some money to start buying things to open her own salon. The loan has helped her to buy salon chairs, chairs and products such as dyes, peroxide, masks, etc. Erika wants to own her own home and have a well established business, since she still lives in her parents' home and it's a little uncomfortable. The Rayadas group has almost never had problems and when they did have them they kept going ahead and supporting each other.
