Mlimani Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to restock her retail shop.
Mlimani Group's story
Edda is 38 years old and married with three children (two boys and a girl). Two of the children are in school and the third is still an infant. Since 2010, Edda has been running a retail shop. She is working hard. She works from 8am to 12pm daily and she is able to make a small monthly profit. Edda is requesting a second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to purchase more shop inventory (soda, juice, boxes of different kinds of pens, wheat flour, etc.) and to cover household expenses. She has paid back her loan successfully. She plans to use the second loan to restock the missing items in her retail shop so she will be able to sell to more people. Her dream is to one day be able to own a big wholesale shop. She will share this loan with her loan group "Mlimani" which has a total of 12 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
