Zusima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more phones and phone accessories for her re-sale business.

Zusima's story

This is Zusima, resident of Payatas, Philippines. She is married to Wilfredo, a maintenance worker, and the mother of eight children. She and her husband manage their household while operating the business. She is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses. Zusima operates a phone and phone accessories business. She offers different units of cell phones and some phone accessories, like batteries and chargers. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of 2,000 Philippine Pesos (PHP) in sales every day. To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a PHP 20,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy additional stocks of photo supplies and cell phone accessories to expand her product inventory. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business. Zusima hopes to be able to expand her business in the coming years and dreams of giving her children a good and quality education. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
