Burmakan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase seasonal clothes for reselling.
Burmakan is 52 years old and has 4 daughters. As the main breadwinner of the family, in 2002 Burmakan began selling clothes for children and teenagers at the market. She started this business with only 30,000 Kyrgyzstan Som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, her turnover is 130,000 Som and the monthly income from her business is about 20,000 Som. These earnings allow Burmakan to pay for her middle daughter's education. Burmakan has approached Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 Som for the purpose of further developing her business. She will use these funds to stock up on children's clothes for school and casual wear for the upcoming season. Burmakan will use the profit generated by this loan to expand her business by opening another sales outlet, and to pay for her daughter's wedding expenses next year.
