Exalashasman's story

Exalashasman is 36 years old, married, and has three children (ages 14, 6, and 2). He lives in the Department of Chinandega, a place that is known for being a commercial area and having people who are hardworking and responsible.

Sr. Exalashasman has a convenience store in his home where he sells basic grains, vegetables, sodas, juices, and sauces to his neighbors on a cash basis. He also works as a truck driver for a sugar mill. His convenience store is located in his home and he has been in business for four years. He and his family are currently facing some challenges. For example, one of his daughters is losing vision in one of her eyes.

Exalashasman will invest his loan in merchandise so that he can restock his store. His daughter’s medical expenses have drained capital out of his business. He is grateful for the hearts of Kiva lenders who provide assistance to people with limited resources so that they can earn a decent living and provide better living conditions for their families.
