Norma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase scissors, powders, shampoo, hair creams, rinses, a dryer, and brushes.

Norma's story

Norma is a member of the “Virgen de la Natividad” (Our lady of the Nativity) Communal Bank located in the San Fernando district, in the Ucayali department. She is 49 years old. She is married with three children but only two of them are in her care. She is the founder of this communal bank. She does haircuts but she doesn’t have a salon so she works in her living room. Later on, she plans to set up a small salon where she can provide more convenience to her customers. With this new loan of S/. 2,500.00 nuevos soles, she will purchase two sets of scissors, two powders, three bottles of shampoo, two hair creams, two rinses, one dryer, and two brushes. She works in the afternoon because she must combine her business activities with her household chores, which she does in the morning. She thanks Manuela Ramos for the financial support provided throughout all the loan cycles. In addition, Norma makes her payments on time.
