Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth, 38 years old, is a hardworking woman. She has lived together with her husband, Olmes, for 18 years. Together they have 3 children whom they are raising in their own house. Every morning is dedicated to the care of their cows, as they very early takes them out to the natural fields to feed them with healthy and nutritious grasses. Thanks to this care, she sells the milk produced by the cows to merchants, from which they make dairy products. She says that she sells 22 to 25 liters of fresh milk a day. Besides liking caring for animals, they also provide her with good income. She also has sheep, pigs, guinea pigs, and rabbitts, which sells sells the meat from in the market that developed in Jauja. If she's lucky, the same buyers visit her house. She is well known for being a hardworking woman as she also plants agricultural products like potatoes, pease, and corn which she sells in the same farm and harvest season. She belongs to the support group "Fuerza san Lorenzo" and this is the second loan with MFP. She is happy because she has the necessary capital to improve her business and improve her quality of life. Additionally she like belonging to the association because its members are supportive and hardworking people. Elizabeth will invest the requested funds into the purchase of 2 plots of alfalfa to feed her animals.
