Esther's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase four sacks of peas for planting (using 2,000 soles). The remainder will be used to buy fertilizers.
Esther is 37 and is married to Nildo. They have two daughters: Mayli and Gabriela. The family lives in their own home, which is located in a rural area. She has around eight years of experience planting flowers (gladiolas), peas, potatoes and carrots. What she likes best about her work is that she is able to sell her harvests and see the fruit of all of her effort. Once a month she goes to the capital of the country to sell her flowers. "All of my crops are profitable and every month I obtain income and am thus able to cover my main expenses," she says. The season for planting peas is approaching, and she needs financial support for this activity, because she doesn't want to fall behind. This is her sixth loan with MFP. She says that she will be responsible in making her repayments on time. She belongs to the communal bank “Los Picaflores de Patay”, where she is glad to work with members who have goals that are similar to her own. She will use the loan proceeds to purchase four sacks of peas for planting (using 2,000 soles). The remainder will be used to buy fertilizers.
