Neida Betzabeth's story
The communal bank San Gregorio meets every fifteen days in the beautiful city of Portoviejo, capital of the province of Manabi, which is known as the City of the Valley. The city has a warm climate, lovely women, and a great variety of cuisine. Neida lives in Portoviejo. She is 45 years old, married, and has four children all of whom are older and two of which live at home. Her spouse makes a living in business. Neida is a strong woman, and in order to help her husband with household expenses, she makes a living in business by selling Yanbal products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and accessories for women). Also, in partnership with one of her children, she has a business in the sale of automotive spare parts out of her house. The sales are good because her son also has a car repair shop in the house, and his clients buy whatever part they need from her. They have been in this business for more than 8 years and it is going very well. This loan will be used to buy perfumes, creams, cosmetics, and spare parts for cars. Neida has been with the communal bank for more than four years and likes it because of the help the bank offers. Her goal is to continue growing her businesses.
