Nancy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy seasonal fruits and vegetables to sell.
Nancy is from Samburu. She is 34 years old and is a married mother. She lives in a rental house and has two children. She has a business selling seasonal fruits and vegetables. She makes deliveries to homes, house by house, because she has an established customer base. Nancy has been paying for the educational expenses of her children with a lot of effort, by selling tomatoes, lettuce, onions and fruit. She comments that her work requires a lot of sacrifice because it's not easy to go out into the streets to sell. Her goal is to have her children become well-educated so that they will not have to suffer the hardships that she has experienced. Nancy has approached Yehu Microfinance to ask for a loan that will help her to buy seasonal fruits and vegetables to sell. She is grateful to Yehu Microfinance and to Kiva for this great assistance that they are providing, as this loan will be a big help to her.
