Union Progreso Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sponge cakes, biscuits, cakes, apple tarts, and sandwich bread.

Union Progreso Group's story

Myrian is one of the ten members of the communal bank "Grupo Unión Progreso." She is 27, married, and has a small son. She sells baked goods such as breads, biscuits, sponge cakes, and so forth. She makes products to order because she doesn't have her own store. This way she can help her husband pay the household expenses and, at the same time, be near her young son. Thanks to this work, she was able to buy a motor taxi, which she rents out for extra income. Myrian will use this loan to buy sponge cakes, biscuits, cakes, apple tarts, and sandwich bread to sell to her customers. Her dream is to have a store where she can merchandise her goods. Myrian appears in the photo in the second position on the right and is wearing a white shirt and purple sweater. She is grateful for the support offered. Note: Jenny, an inactive member who also appears in the photo, will rejoin the communal bank the next loan cycle. She is second from the left and is wearing a white sweater and black pants.
