Mahutin Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy school supplies.
Mahutin Group's story
"MAHUTIN" is a group composed of three persons who reside in the same district. The group's representative, Clarisse (whose hand is raised in the photo), is 52 years old and married to a plumber named Michel. The couple have three children, all in school and in their care. Clarisse lives together with her children and husband, and along with her husband, she ensures that the household expenses are covered. Clarisse halted her studies in secondary school. For about six years, Clarisse has been teaching at a pre-school in Benin. Secondary to this primary work, she sells school supplies in her school. These activities enable her to increase her income, which helps her to cope with different household expenses. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin. To respond better to the requirements of her increasingly numerous customers and to make more profit, Clarisse is requesting, along with the other members of the group "MAHUTIN", a fourth loan from ALIDé. The first three loans were indeed repaid.
