Flor Naciente Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wool.

Flor Naciente Group's story

The "Flor Naciente" Communal Bank is starting its fourth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Villa Exaltación Regional Office. The group is made up of twelve members and is governed by a board of directors, the president of which is Señora Verónica. The members' businesses are varied and include: pant-making, selling candy, selling coca leaves, selling vegetables, macrame, selling meat, selling plastic items, selling stencils, making sneakers, and driving. This loan will benefit these little microbusinesses. Veronica joined Pro Mujer one cycle ago at the invitation of a promoter who came to her home to invite her. She currently has a business making artisanal products (blankets with macrame weaving). She started this business at the age of sixteen, and the business is currently helping her by bringing in an income. This loan is to be used to increase capital (buying wool). She will buy the wool from the wholesale stores and, after making her products, will sell based on orders. This work allows her to generate an income in order to support her family where possible. She is single and has two children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded that she likes the Communal Bank meetings. In the photo we can see Señora Juana crouching down and Señora Roxana raising her hand to identify herself.
