Maribel's story

Maribel is a 50 year old resident of zone #2. She is a business woman who's main business is to purchase and sell american clothes, shoes, and cosmetics among a variety of other products that are sought after by her customers whenever they are in her store. She has more than five years of experience in developing her small business and to this day is motivated to keep moving forward as it is her main source of income. Little by little, Maribel has been growing her business through her own efforts and with loans. She previously took a loan with Kiva which she paid on time and is grateful to Kiva because thanks she was able to satisfy the demands of her customers by delivering merchandise like clothes and shoes. She wants to continue working with loans because it is a way to move her business forward. She will invest this loan in more products for her business now that she has a larger and more demanding customer base. Her goal is to continue growing her business and thus generate higher profits which will improve her quality of life.
