Juana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase 100 sacks of natural fertilizer for her potato plants.
Juana is 45 years old and is married to Ricardo. They have seven children, but only five currently live with them in the home they purchased twenty years ago. Ever since she started a family at eighteen, she and her husband started growing potatoes, ulluco, mashua, and oca. They fertilize and clear their crops with lots of dedication. Over all this time, they have made many achievements, such as acquiring their own farm land. But that is not this couple's only business. Thay also weave traditional wool blankets, which provide them with some extra money. Juana also raises and sells animals (sheep, pigs, and working donkeys). Her husband is going to start working in a mine, so she is happy with the money they will receive from that job, which they will be able to use to increase their agricultural production. She belongs to the solidarity group Los Quinuales and this is her second loan with MFP. She is grateful for the financial help she receives in order to achieve her goals. That is why she promises to make her payments on time. Juana will invest the money requested in the purchase of 100 sacks of natural fertilizer to use on the potatoes she currently intends to plant.
