Angela's story

Ángela, 63, has nine children who are all independent now. She sells food, an activity she carries out daily in her food stand located on one of the city of Santa Cruz’s busiest streets; she prepares and sells varied dishes to her customers. This activity is her main source of income for her and her family. She has an employee that helps her cook and serve. The loan is to buy larger amounts of ingredients and supplies (potatoes, rice, noodles and others) to have a full pantry. Ángela is a very hardworking person who has been selling food for years; she’s very grateful to the institution for the support provided.
