Tinatin's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase seasonal clothes.
Tinatin is 27 years old. She is married and lives in a small village in the Sighnaghi District with her family: husband Mose, parents-in-law, grandmother, and two children (2 and 5 years old). The family members are busy with an agricultural business. They have a vineyard and a plot of land where various vegetables are grown, such as cucumbers, potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers. The family works hard on their agricultural land during the spring and summer seasons to get a good harvest. They pick grapes in late summer and produce wine. They sell harvested products and wine on the local open market. They also have milking cows and produce dairy products to sell on the local open market. Along with the agricultural business, they are busy with trading. They sell second-hand cloths in nearby villages. Tinatin requested a loan to increase clothing stock. She will purchase seasonal clothes for resale. She will offer a wide assortment of the clothes to her customers and increase sales, and, consequently, her profit. She will reinvest part of the profit in the same business, and the other part will be used for improving family living conditions. Tinatin also plans to purchase piglets. She will raise them and sell them after several months with a price mark-up. Because of this, the living conditions of the family will improve.
