Francisco's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seeds for the corn sowing season.

Francisco's story

Francisco has lived in the remote community of Villa San Carlos, 28km from Limoncito, for twenty-two years. He has a plot of land where he lives and works farming. He's married to Isabel and she is a housewife. His eight children all work with their father farming, planting corn, watermelon, peanuts, and yucca. They also make a living raising cattle. Everything they help their dad plant and everything they plant they take to sell at the market around the area. Francisco is working to undertake this because this is the only institution that has offered him its assistance. The loan that he has requested is for buying seeds for the corn sowing season and the expenses implied in preparing the soil. The family is very united and hardworking, and they feel grateful for the help the institution has given them.
