Flor Viviana's story
Flor is a 25 year old woman. She lives in the city of Cañete, in the Imperial district, with her beloved husband and her little son. He is her main reason for getting ahead. She is a very friendly, entusiastic and hardworking person. Lamentably, due to the necessity of working and paying expenses, she was unable to study and earn a professional degree, but she would have really liked to do it. In her free time, she likes to spend pleasant moments with her family. With much hard work and dedication, day to day Flor works in her little clothes selling business. From the very early hours in the morning she goes to the market in her town to sell as a street vendor. She works approximately 10 hours a day and at night she goes to her district stadium where she sells candies and snacks. She likes doing her job and she believes that it is going well for her because of her hard work and the friendly way she treats other people. Flor is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thank to the help that has been offered she can buy merchandise such as: jackets, sweaters, pants, t-shirts and more. This way, her business will be stocked. She hopes she can increase her sales and her financial income, which in the not so distant future she wants to use to acquire a sales point in her city's market.
