Alexandra's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy merchandise and a display case.
Alexandra started her business selling sunglasses, watches, accessories and caps three years ago and has succeeded in increasing her income which when added to her husband’s benefits her home and insures a promising future for their children that are to come. Her improvement is reflected in the construction of her own locale where she sells her merchandise for cash directly to the final consumer. With her retail sales she’s managed to build a large clientele in the neighborhood where she lives and has her store. Alexandra buys by lots in order to get better prices and take merchandise to the marketplace thus becoming more competitive each time. Her business has important growth potential because she offers alongside her products the confidence that her customers will be able to find what they want and this causes her to display what her customers’ request. She has approached Fundación Mario Santo Domingo today to request a Kiva loan, her first financing with the Fundación, to buy women’s accessories, costume jewelry and a display case to display them elegantly. She hopes to make an impression on her customers this way and sell everything in order to earn more money which is why we at the Fundación believe her Kiva loan will be successful hoping that Alexandra’s and her husband’s dream of prosperity will gradually be attained.
