Luís Alonso's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to build a containment wall for his home, to avoid continued erosion of the land.
Luís Alonso's story
Luís is 36 years old, married, and has two children. He has been working in various agricultural and masonry jobs for years. He learned those trades from his father. He, his wife, and their children live in a house constructed of metal sheets. He gets up at 4:30 a.m. to go to work as a laborer until 7:30 a.m. Then he goes to work as a mason from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. He buys materials in a city that is one hour away by bus. He is requesting a loan from Fundación Campo to build a containment wall for his house, to avoid the continued erosion of the land. This way, he will rest assured that his family and his home are not in any danger. He also plans to build a brick house, since the one he lives in is made of metal sheets and is not safe.
