Sok's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay laborers to transplant her rice and remove unwanted plants as well as rent a tractor to till the land for growing her potatoes.
Sok, age 42, lives with her family in a peaceful village in the Baray district of the Kompong Tom province. She is married to a local farmer and has four children, all of whom attend school. Sok and her spouse help each other in maintaining a farming business to raise their children and provide them with a good education in the future. Sok grows various kinds of crops such as rice, potatoes and beans. She has been doing this business since her parents handed it to her. She generates around KHR 14,600 per day. Recently, Sok is busy working on her rice and potato field. She really needs a few laborers to help her. For this reason, Sok would like to take out a loan in the sum of KHR 4,500,000 to pay laborers to transplant her rice and remove unwanted plants as well as rent a tractor to till the land for growing her potatoes. Sok says that although she doesn’t have enough capital, she has the discipline and patience to achieve her goals in life. She is very thankful for the given funds, which will go a long way toward providing success for her family.
