Nonvignon Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy fabrics, plastic wares, pots and kitchen utensils for resale.
Nonvignon Group's story
The group NONVIGNON consists of three people who live in the same neighborhood. The group’s representative is Florence Assiba, seen with her hand raised in the photo. She is a 42-year-old widow and mother of four dependent children, some of them in school. She herself received little schooling. Florence Assiba handles the various household responsibilities on her own. To that end, she sells fabrics, pots, and plastic wares through the distribution system. As a secondary activity, she also sells food from her home. She is able to earn the income necessary to provide for herself and her children. She buys her merchandise in a market of Benin and in Ghana. To expand her business and to increase her sales and revenue, Florence Assiba is seeking a third loan from ALIDé together with the other members of the group NONVIGNON. Their two previous loans were repaid without incident.
