A loan helped to purchase a motorcycle for her vegetable selling business.

Puth's story

Puth is a vendor selling vegetables in a local market to supplement her husband’s income. Through her effort, Puth hopes to provide opportunities of education to her three dependent children. Puth has been in this business for four years and she is able to earn in the vicinity of KHR 14,000 each day. Puth is now 36 years old and is married to Men, her husband, who works as a paid worker in a plantation and also a tractor operator. Puth needs a vehicle to support her selling business. Due to not having one, she has had a lot of expenses in transferring her vegetables to the marketplaces. In connection with this, she decided to take out additional capital of KHR 2,500,000 to purchase a used motorcycle that is connected to a trailer in the back. Puth is very happy with the given loan because it has a positive impact on her current business. She will be able to transport a greater amount of vegetables at a time.
