Frida Esther's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a plant called "tara" [Caesalpinia spinosa].
Frida Esther's story
Frida’s a member of the “Sonrisa” (Smile) communal bank. She’s 62-years-old and the mother of 8 children. She’s been a member of FINCA Perú for 9 years and she is a tara [small leguminous tree or thorny shrub native to Peru] and cochineal merchant; she also sells vegetables. She’s grateful to the institution for all the support they provide her. She enjoys attending her communal bank meetings because the training she gets teaches her how to save, to invest her money well and to improve as a person. She says that by attending besides learning much she also enjoys herself sharing experiences with her fellow members. The loan she’s asking for will be used to buy tara.
