A loan helped to have her brick ovens serviced.

San Roque Group's story

The "SAN ROQUE" group is a fairly large group which has 12 members. Within this group, María Luisa is the most committed to her business which is making bricks by hand. She learned this trade from her parents and has taken over the family business from them. She says that she currently has two school-age children who are dependent on her and her husband works as a security guard in their town. However, in order to improve their family income, she started improving the craft workshop she had and started running this business which was almost forgotten about. After working for a while, she realized that her income was improving. For this reason, she is requesting a loan to have her brick ovens serviced as they have aged over time. In the photo, María is the lady at the top dressed in a striped sweater. n.b. In the [individual] photos at the top, we can also see Magaly (wearing a brown top), Virginia (wearing a white jacket) and Julio Cesar (wearing a green sweater).
