A loan helped to buy bunches of bananas and containers of palm oil.
Wadagbe Group's story
The group WADAGBE comprises three persons who live in the same district. This is the first time this group has requested financial aid from ALIDé to boost their business. The group's representative, Victoire, is the one in the photo with her hand raised. She is 47 years old and lives in Benin. She no longer lives with her husband. She has four children, all with schooling. One of the children remains in her care. To cope with her needs and those of a child still in her care, Victoire has been selling bananas and palm via the distribution system for fifteen years. She gets her supplies from a region in Benin. Seeking to satisfy her customers and to increase her sales and her revenues, Victoire, along with the other members of the group WADAGBE, is requesting an initial loan from ALIDé. This loan will surely enable them to raise their business level and to make more profit.
