María's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more food products to stock her store.

María's story

María is a 45-year-old woman. Her husband is Eugenio, age 53. From this union they have three children, to whom they provide love and a good education. She has a grocery store, which she set up in her own home 6 years ago. She and her husband work together to serve the customers. This business is very profitable for them, since they always have good income in spite of the fact that they have competition. The friendliness and good service they provide ensure that the people always come back. And since María found out about MFP, they have utilized the loans to continue growing with their store. She is very committed to making her loan payments punctually, since she is very responsible. The same is true of her fellow members in the communal bank, and so she is very happy with them. With these 1,000 Peruvian new soles, in addition to her savings, she will stock up on merchandise to increase the inventory of her grocery store.
