Delia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to inject capital into her farm in order to make purchases such as seed and fertilizer for the next planting season.

Delia's story

Delia is from the village of Rizal in the province of Isabela. She is a hard-working woman who dreams of seeing her two children finish their college education. She is 42 years old and married to Roosevelt who is also her business partner. Their children are Sheila Mae and Lara Kaye. Delia's family live in a community surrounded by hospitable, responsible and God-fearing people. She and her husband are engaged in farming which is their main source of income, but with their desire to provide a better life for their family, they also engage in other businesses such as hog-raising, furniture-making, welding and a small store in their village. Delia's products include basic commodities, rice, soft drinks, personal care items and hog feed. Delia is requesting a loan of PHP 23,000 which will be used in their farm business since their income is not enough to sustain the next planting season. She hopes that through her loan their economic status will improve.
