Anonymous Group's story
The client, councillor of the credit association « Mungu iko » and a brave entrepreneur, is 35 years old and the mother of 5 young children who are all studying. Her husband is unemployed. She sells drinks (Primus, Fanta). She displays her merchandise in a small stall located near an access road leading to the main thoroughfares. She started her business with funds received from her spouse. Later on, she received additional funding of $50 from the IMF Hekima. She has been engaged in these revenue-generating activities for 4 years. She has benefited from 17 loan cycles with the IMF Hekima microfinancing program. The insecurity in the interior of the province is a threat to the development of her business activities. This new loan will allow her to restock on drinks (20 cases of Primus, 15 cases of Fanta) and to invest in her business. She would also like to watch her children grow up, and open a bistro. The customer thanks Hekima for its actions in aid of the economic and financial emancipation of women of insufficient means.
