Araba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase maize, cassava, bush meat and other ingredients to prepare food for sale.

Araba's story

Araba is the woman pounding "fufu". She operates a chop bar where a variety of African dishes are sold. This she has done for 2 years. The dishes she serves are "fufu" (mashed manioc), "banku" (fermented maize dough), meat soup, fish soup, and rice balls. She is married and has four children. Araba uses her income to help her husband to pay their children’s school fees. She will use her loan to purchase maize, cassava, bush meat and other ingredients to prepare food for sale. With the new profit, Araba plans to operate a restaurant.
