Ndiogolor Saseme Group's story
This group has been created on October 14, 2010, the day the Banc Villageois opened. The group is composed of women who live in the same village and mostly sell fruits, peanuts, and millet. The members of this Banc Villageois have maintained good social connections for a long time. Mrs. Fatou is a widow. She is 62 years old and the mother of 10 children, five daughters and five sons. She sells local fruits, millet and peanut. With her new loan of 120,000 West African francs, she will [buy] fruits, palm oil, peanuts and millet to retail in her village and at the nearby markets. The income derived from this business allows her to pay for the children’s education and provide for everyday needs.
