A loan helped To buy more crates of beer and soda and iron sheets to build more rental rooms.
Florence is widowed with 12 children and only six of her children go to school. She also takes care of additional family members (grandchildren). She has a pub business and has been in this business for 10 years. She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more crates of beer and soda and iron sheets to build more rental rooms. She generates additional income through rental rooms. She works from home and sells to all categories of people but on retail and from her home. Florence works seven days a week and her monthly expenses include rainy season and thieves. She aspires to see her business grow big so that she can own a fully stocked pub and educate her children up to university. She decided to join MCDT-SACCO because they were giving out timely loans. She lives in a home that she owns and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees, feeding the family and medication.
