but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase oil, rice, sausages, condiments, juice, sodas and crackers.

Yanira Elizabeth's story

Yanira runs a small grocery and "pupuseria" (a store that sells pupusas, corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, beans, and meat and then grilled). Yanira lives with her husband and three children, who are 14, 8 and 5 years old. They are all in primary school. Yanira has been running the store for 7 years. She is open from 8:00am until 6:00pm. She has a lot of experience in the business. She started as an employee of another store and then decided to open her own store but to offer pupusas and food as well. Yanira is requesting the loan to purchase merchandise, with which she plans to stock up her store. She will buy oil, rice, sausages, condiments, juice, sodas and crackers, which are in high demand by her customers. This loan will help her to expand her business and to give more time to selling her pupusas and other food. Yanira's hopes are to grow her business, to increase her customer base and to help her children get ahead.
