Salone Microfinance Trust (SMT), a partner of Kiva.org in Makeni, northern Sierra Leone, is very pleased to present to you Fatmata, a small-scale entrepreneur who has come to SMT/Kiva lenders to seek a loan of 5,000,000 Sierra Leonean Leones (SLL) in order to invest in her businesses. A wife and a mother of three children, the 28-year-old woman was born in Kono. She sells building materials. She has been doing this business for eight years now. Fatmata has requested this loan in order to buy cement, iron corrugated zinc, etc., to add to her business.
