Anonymous Group's story

The client, who leads the Tuimizane group, is a dynamic entrepreneur. She is 33 years of age, and is a mother to seven children who are all at school. She sells shoes in the Cadeco town market, and her husband is currently unemployed. She started her business in approximately the year 2000, with funds she received from her husband, and was introduced to the business by her peers when she moved to the town of Goma. She uses the money she earns for savings, food and her children’s education. She has just obtained her eighth loan. Since she started her business it has grown, and thanks to her loans from Hekima, she has bought a plot of land. She has decided to increase her loan amount for this new loan cycle, and plans to use the money to buy 30 pairs of shoes. She also hopes to see her children grow up in comfort. She would like to thank Hekima for helping poor women with low incomes to become autonomous.
