Gloria's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more printing paper and books for resale.

Gloria's story

Gloria is 35 years old and lives in the town of Kibuli in the Kampala south region of Uganda. She is married and has 4 children who are all currently in school. For the past 5 years, Gloria has been working hard to manage her small shop, which sells books and does printing. To help expand her business, Gloria has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more printing paper and books for resale, and will help Gloria to generate greater profits and to save money. Gloria hopes that in the future she will be able to set up another stall. Gloria is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Gloria who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for micro-loans.
