Monica is thirty-eight years old and married with three children. She lives with her husband and children in Beahu, a suburb of Takoradi. She is a hardworking woman and through her hard work, has helped her husband to give their children good education. She is a bread baker. She bakes and distributes to beverage sellers and other bread sellers in her community at wholesale prices. She has been in business for ten years. Monica desires to use the loan to expand her business by buying materials in bulk so that she can distribute to a larger number of customers. She hopes to open a bakery training school in the future. She is in the “Aniounyam Mba”, meaning children of glory, Trust Bank group. The group members act as guarantors for one another so as to access the loan.
