Maria Dolores's story
María Dolores was born in Santo Domingo. She’s 53 years old, married and has a son. Since she got married she’s been living in San Jacinto de Buena Fe. Buena Fe is a canton in Los Ríos. It’s tranquil and she likes living there because it’s safe for her son. Her husband is a bricklayer. She opened her store with a stipend she got from the government and she’s enlarged it working every day. She feels very satisfied because it allows her to care for her son and to rest. She’s currently a little concerned about her health because she recently underwent uterine surgery. This is her first loan and she is going to use it to buy a display case and to be able to sell kitchenware to expand her store. Her future plans are to make home improvements and to continue providing schooling for her son.
